Product Overview

WTF's Insert 401 accepts three 556 mags or similar.  Insert 401 is intended for use in Spiritus Systems Micro Fight Chassis Mk4, Haley Strategic Partners D3CRM Micro Chest Rig, and similar rigs with all loop lining and a closed bottom.  Insert 401 has hook on the front and back.

Insert 401 is manufactured in the USA using milspec, Berry compliant, solution dyed fabrics.  MIL-W-5664, solution dyed, elastic holds mags snug against a Hypalon friction pad for a well balance retention.  MIL-T-5038 webbing loops are ready to receive optional shock cord and pull tabs should additional retention be desired.  Milspec hook front and back hold securely inside loop lined platforms.  Abrasion resistant MIL-DTL-32439 TIII 500D nylon lines the interior.  All of this is stitched together by skilled labor with A-A-59826A bonded nylon thread to produce a tough, lightweight part.

Made in the USA.  2.1oz / 60g.  Available in Multicam, coyote brown, ranger green, and wolf grey.

    Ran one of these for a year and it holds STANAG and Magpul mags fantastic, just enough friction without it being too much. Light and crushable, I love it. Tried other hard-plastic inserts and never liked the extra bulk or noise. Perfect fit in my Spiritus Micro Fight. Wish I had known about WTF earlier.

    Great product. Needs more options

    This insert is so much better than the normal elastic insert for the Spiritus MK4. It has more velcro and the inside has rubber grip material for mag retention, as well as the option to add bungees. The only thing that would make this product better is if it was offer in a single insert and a 7.62 insert.

    Do yourself a favor and get this. I've used a few different types of these and honestly, this one is by far the best I've used. Quality people making quality gear that can't be beat.

    Haley micro insert

    Best insert ive used so far in my various chest rigs, its a little hard to get in because of the velcro but that is expected. Holds magazines nicely and they're easy to draw and to return to the insert.

    Its a good insert, retention is good, I'm using it in a haley micro. Reinserting empty mags isn't hard. Over all I like it.
